Trainz
has been designed as a long-term project that will continue to expand
and develop as new versions and additional modules are made available.
Trainz will eventually incorporate almost every aspect of the railroad experience from land
development and object placement to dispatching, scheduling and
building a railroad empire. An online environment is planned that will allow you to log on
and work a 'virtual' railroad with other Trainz users
across the globe.

after purchasing the Ultimate Trainz Collection - the
culmination of 12 months development since the first release of Trainz.
UTC adds to the
solid foundations already established, and delivers a wide range of new
scenarios and a huge number of new features and polish. Take control of a passenger run, conduct a switching
exercise or carry out complex shunting maneuvers. You can even sit back
and simply watch your railroad follow pre-set orders.
The next release we are preparing for is
Yardmaster, which will add new levels of functionality
to Trainz including the concept of managing Drivers and
coordinating busy freight and passenger schedules. You will be able to designate specific drivers for key routes,
conduct essential rail services and manage tasks, presenting a whole
new game play challenge.
