Trainz has been designed as a long-term project that develops over a series of modules.  The original retail release of Trainz includes the first three modules; My Collection, Surveyor and Driver in the one pack.

Incorporating the "Collect", "Create", and "Control" aspects of Trainz, the first three modules provide the basis for the entire Trainz project and are the nucleus upon which future modules will be developed.
